Had a great time both of the times I've visited. Such a beautiful home, with an interesting history. The owner of the home was informative, welcoming and went above and beyond to help us have the best experience possible. The porch cats are lovely as well! We got activity both visits. It was well worth the travel out of state to get there!!

We visited Whispers Estate with anticipation and excitement and just a pinch of fear. We were truly enthralled by the house. It takes you back in time and promises to whisper it's secrets if you listen carefully. We did. We listened and we captured so much and it's now placed firmly in our top ten locations. Such a great location for the paranormal Investigator. We definitely will return. The owner was both friendly and knowledgeable. If you haven't visited Whispers yet, book it! You won't regret it!

Very cool location. Owners were very welcoming on arrival and even allowed us to use some of their equipment which was very cool. I usually do not include rem pods in my investigations as so many things can set them off. However, we had a couple instances in the night where it seemed as if it was responding to our questions so that was interesting. I still have mounds of footage to go through but already I caught an instance where our camcorder had moved while sitting on a table recording our session! House vibrations? Possible. It moved pretty significantly and watching it back is genuinely unnerving. I could go on and on about the different occurrences in the night, but all I will say is this place is worth visiting if you have never been.

Whispers is a truly haunted house (yes, really) and never ceases to amaze. I've experienced paranormal activity every time I've visited - often VERY dramatically. However, they're website is no longer maintained and the only way to make reservations or even find out what events are scheduled is to call, and they don't always answer the phone. It's worth the effort to experience this place, but it's more effort than it should be with today's technology. UPDATE (2022-10): Since the house is under new ownership, they no longer offer tours or short-term investigations, which is very disappointing and seems pretty foolish from a business perspective - especially during October. You now have to rent the entire house for the whole evening for hundreds of $$ - an option out of reach for most of us who can't put together large groups to split the cost to something more reasonable. I sincerely hope they add more options soon; otherwise, it's unlikely I'll be back.

This place is not for the faint of heart, don't expect to have much happen with a larger party, but once most of our party left I experienced terrifying phenomenon that has left me at a loss for words. This place is beyond haunted, I would go so far as to say it's entirely demonic in nature. I believe much of the history of the home is true, but that there's a primal dark force behind the happenings in this home. For your sake, say prayers when you leave, do spiritual cleansing. The things I have seen here are barely even explainable in the realm of regular paranormal activity and cross into the realm of esotericism and magicks. To get to the point, it sits on a vortex that causes the barrier between the material and physical world to be much thinner than it would anywhere else. The origins of this are unknown and due to fearing for my own safety I have no desire to know. There have been rituals done here which I believe have increased the strength of whatever resides here. There are multiple spirits within this home, but our encounter was with Big Black I believe. It is a primal form of evil, the definition of a demon without any questions. We asked for any spirits to show themselves after the other half of our group left. The closed door next to us suddenly opened without any visible movement, we started hearing colossal footsteps all through the second floor hall, eventually enveloping the entire room. All three of us immediately felt a primal fear darker than anything, like a sinking pressure. We ran out and left as soon as possible. I believe if we stayed any longer we would've been injured or worse, whatever we had accidentally beckoned forth was a being of pure malice. We make sure to tell the ghosts we come as friends and learners, this one did not spare formality. This visit changed my entire view of religion and reality itself, I can't help but give a 5 star for that alone. If you come here, PLEASE PRAY, I don't care if you're atheist, this place will make you believe in a higher power if you don't. Please stay safe, and do not anger any of the demons that lurk within this building. Wear a cross, remember the Lord's Prayer, satanic influences lie in this place.
