Before you submit

Thank you for adding to the map! A few things to keep in mind so your listing gets approved quickly and stays useful to visitors.

Accuracy first

Make sure the address, dates, and hours are correct at the time you submit. If your display or event is seasonal, note the dates it will actually be up and lit or open.

Private homes vs. public attractions

Clearly note whether a location is a private home display, a business, or a public event. If it is a private home, only list it if the homeowner wants visitors to find it — do not submit a neighbor's house without their knowledge.

Photos

Upload real photos of the actual display or location. Do not use stock photos or images pulled from elsewhere without permission.

Keeping listings current

Listings that go unconfirmed for a full season may be marked as needing verification or archived. Owners and community members can confirm a listing is still active through the "Verify" option on the listing page.

Claiming a listing

If you are the owner or organizer of a listing someone else submitted, you can request to claim it from the listing page. Claims are reviewed by our moderation team.

What gets rejected

Listings that are fake, duplicate, unsafe to visit, or that list a private residence without the resident's consent will be rejected or removed.
