We stayed for our 25th Anniversary since we stayed on our first one. Love the history of this place and the location is perfect. We got a big room with a balcony, only issue with the room was we were on the street side so there was a lot of traffic noise which made relaxing difficult. The hotel is haunted but mainly on 3rd floor ( i hung out up there for awhile didn't feel any strange vibes). We had very little staff interaction so couldn't really rate their service, we did have have dinner at the Riverside bar ang grill the fish and chips was great but the other stuff was okay. Highly recommended staying here if you want to feel the history of the town.

Service stopped at the front desk with clerk, Missy. At 12:00PM, when arriving Marietta, we stopped in asking for early check in, knowing the clerk could not guarantee anything from housekeeping until closer to 3:00 check in. Missy, without much hospitality, told us we "could not until 3:00PM". We checked in at 3:00PM and Missy's negative attitude was the same. Sorry owners of hotel, but you are missing a good chance of getting repeat customers. Loved the city though.

This is truly a one-of-a-kind place! The historical aspect makes it very interesting and it's location is just ideal along the river and in town - you can walk along the bike path, walk to shops, restaurants, etc. or just sit and enjoy the river. I highly recommend this hotel!

Heather at the front desk was super nice. Gun Room server and food was perfect. Also dinner was delicious. And Room 215- the best! Thank you to all the staff for making this trip memorable.

Great history, views of the river. Lots to do locally. Rooms furnished with authentic furniture. First hotel in the new frontier of the northwest territory! A must see
