Amazing fall attraction in Westchester county. This event is great for adults and kids of all ages. Each year it gets bigger, better and more detailed. We have gone to the Gourd and Goblet Tavern for the past two years and both times have been amazing. To sit and have a snack and a drink in a historic tavern is a great experience. There is staff everywhere and the Croton Police handle the traffic on the local roads. If you join historic Hudson valley your blaze tickets are included with your membership but the tavern is a small add on but well worth it.

The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is absolutely worth the trip, during the Halloween season. Coming from Brooklyn, I wasn't sure if the drive would be worth it, but it exceeded my expectations. The displays are incredibly creative, featuring thousands of hand-carved and illuminated jack-o'-lanterns arranged into impressive scenes, tunnels, sculptures, and themed exhibits. Everywhere you look, there's another unique display to admire. The attention to detail and artistry that goes into the event is truly remarkable. What I enjoyed most was how the experience captured the spirit of Halloween without being overly scary. It's fun for all ages and offers plenty of opportunities for photos and memorable moments. The atmosphere is festive, well-organized, and unlike anything you'll typically find in New York City. If you're looking for a unique fall activity, I highly recommend making the trip. The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze is one of the best Halloween attractions in the Hudson Valley and was definitely worth the drive from Brooklyn.

It was very nice but in some ways disappointing. A lot of the pumpkins were fake. When it 1st started they were all real. For the price of the tickets they should all be real like they were. So many people go and travel to see this display which is more money on top of the tickets that they should give a real show not fake. Its creative but disappointing.

Great experience and worth it, have been going for the past several years with my wife. Make sure you get tickets a few weeks in advance as the slots tend to fill up quickly. If you go after 9 pm it’s a bit less expensive. Take your time and really soak in the impressive artistry and coordination that goes into setting up the event. They add new exhibits to keep things exciting while keeping a lot of the classics.

If you even remotely like jack o'lanterns, this is for you! It's a great event with hundreds, if not thousands, of experience carved pumpkins. Each display is themed and many of them change from year to year. We went at the earliest time. It wasn't crowded at first because it was still a bit bright out. After about 15 min it so it was dark and everything looked incredible. The pumpkin designs and scenes are well crafted and our son loved to see all of them. Parking was easy and the staff working the lot we're great. They knew what to do and wasted no time. If you can, but tickets in advance and go early. We went later last year and it was great, but I looked that it was a bit less crowded this time.
