First time going to the haunted house. We waited quite a long time. However, if you paid more you got to go in the fast lane and not wait as much. If I go again next year I would definitely probably do that. The actors in the haunted house did a wonderful job. It was a lot of fun as someone that doesn't get spooked easy. I even had a few moments where I got spooked.

St. Albans Sanatorium is hands-down one of the creepiest properties we’ve ever encountered — the history, the decrepit architecture, and the natural ambiance ooze with potential for scares. The haunt itself is a ~20-minute walkthrough that leans into both detailed scenes and the unsettling feel of the building itself. While some areas felt a bit hodgepodge or could benefit from more cohesive theming, the atmosphere of St. Albans is so strong that even standing still inside the building can raise the hair on the back of your neck. It’s a crazy fun time… straight jackets optional.

We did the overnight private investigation. One of the top places for activity we have had. It was nonstop activity. It is a large place so plenty to explore. I would definitely recommend to paranormal groups. The only downfalls were the fake props all over for different events they do and the horrible tour prior to the investigation. The guy quuckly took us around and barely gave any information on the history. He seemed to be in a hurry to get thru our tour.

It was a fantastic experience! This was a group event but next time doing a private one. We still got some good paranormal evidence during our trip. Excellent place to visit.

We did the public investigations and how I feel is it just wasn’t great. The people who run it are super nice and the guide was ok. Two things I really dislike about it. First the guide gives you no information like at all. They tell you halfway what the rooms are and say go explore. We did Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum a few months back and the guide walked us through everything what floors we was on and who’s rooms and what the history was behind everything. I didn’t know much about St Albans when we went in and didn’t know much when I came out. Just basically reading the signs on the doors. My second and last pet peeve is all the stupid Halloween decorations scattered all over the building. Again not trying to compare it to Trans Allegheny but that building was beautiful and rooms felt creepy because they felt like the stood still in time and it’s like your walking into someone’s room. When I walk down a hallway in St Albans it’s like 4 out of the 10 rooms was filled with decorations they had nowhere to put and every other corner you turned was a big Halloween statue. It just took away from the ambiance. Our female guide did seem to have activity on the bell device she had if your into that but as far as noise or seeing anything we didn’t have any activity.
