This will not be a ghostly scary tour, this is a tour of a cemetery and interesting sites to see along the way! Everyone gets a lantern and you’ll spend two hours walking uneven grounds and a good amount of hills. You see many interesting graves, mausoleums, statues, and well known stops like Irving, Rockefeller, and Carnegie. You can go into a mausoleum that they use when the ground freezes and learn about marble and granite. You’ll talk about statues and symbolism used on graves. You’ll hear some jokes and plenty of interesting stories. I love a good ghost tour, but this was great and we had an excellent guide!

Disappointing. It's October in Sleepy Hollow. We were expecting scary/creepy/eerie. What we received was a tutorial on internments. I know more about the difference between marble and granite than I want to know. The only parts that were enjoyable were Washington Irving's grave and the crypt used in Dark Shadows. We weren't even taken to the grave of the Hession soldier. We went back the next day and walked over the bridge. They're missing a marketing opportunity. They need to sell the cemetery jackets. The guide said that everyone asks to buy them.

We recently traveled to Sleepy Hollow and took the Classic Lantern Tour of Sleey Hollow Cemetery. I highly recommend this! It was excellent. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided lots of historical facts as well as tons of information concerning the various mausoleums, vaults, memorials, headstones, and sites within the cemetery. Every other person had a lantern, and the tour was incredible.
