My mother and I called to book a tour on a Friday night at the last minute. Janet was very accommodating and helped us with our reservation. The tour was insightful. You can tell Janet really takes pride in her town and has deep respect for the paranormal. Shepardstown roots grow deep with abundance of spooky stories that will even fascinate a skeptic. After the tour Janet recommended other local haunts to visit. Honorable mention...Cecil the graveyard cat blessed us with his presence!!

This was such a wonderful tour! We learned lots, got to explore and take photos, and learned the good, the bad, and the ugly of local history. Janet was phenomenal as a tour guide. If I'm ever in the area again, I'm booking another tour!

I went on a ghost tour in Shepherdstown last night, and it was an incredible experience! Our tour guide was absolutely amazing—extremely knowledgeable about both the paranormal and the rich history of the town. What really stood out to me was her attention to detail and dedication to doing her own research. She went above and beyond to uncover the history behind the stories she shared, while also taking the time to debunk some of the fake or exaggerated stories that have circulated over the years. That level of research and authenticity made the tour even more interesting and enjoyable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in history, the paranormal, or just looking for a unique experience. In my opinion, it’s one of the best ghost tours in the country! Even better, you’re supporting a small local business while experiencing the history and spooky side of Shepherdstown. Definitely worth checking out—you won’t be disappointed!

My teen children and I took a tour with Janet and it was so amazing. She was personable and made us comfortable as she relayed the history of Shepherdstown in depth, highlighting areas with ghostly activity and sightings. We are so glad that we booked with her. Don't miss out!

A Thrilling and Eerie Experience in Historic Shepherdstown! The Shepherdstown Ghost Tour is an absolute must-do for anyone who loves history, mystery, and a little thrill! From the moment we met Janet our guide, I was transported into the rich and spooky past of this charming town. Janet must have lived in a past life she is incredibly knowledgeable, blending historical facts with spine-chilling ghost stories that brought the town’s eerie past to life. We visited several locations, each with its own haunting tale, and the sense of anticipation grew with every stop. Janet's storytelling was captivating, and the atmosphere in the evening—walking through the cobblestone streets under the moonlight—was the perfect setting for a ghost tour. What really stood out was how interactive the tour was. The guide encouraged us to ask questions, share our own experiences, and even gave us a chance to “feel” the presence of spirits in certain locations. Whether or not you believe in ghosts, the tour is both a fun and informative way to explore Shepherdstown’s fascinating history. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add a little spooky adventure to their visit! You’ll walk away with a new appreciation for the mysterious side of Shepherdstown and a few ghostly stories to share.
