On Friday October 17th 2025 Mothman visited the Sanctum of Horror. The best place to get your quick spooky fix! This pop up haunted attraction consisted of 2 mini haunts. The Sanctum and The Breach. This place was amazing. The operation was rather small but very high quality. Each haunt has amazing set pieces and great characters! The first thing I noticed was the queuing area. They had lots of actors to interact with, photo ops, and a center stage playing great music that really fit the vibe. The safety briefings at each haunt were done according to the theme and in character. The haunts themselves were fairly short but since two are included in the ticket we did not mind and we never felt bored. After exiting we found the gift shop which was amazing and fairly priced. I was happy to see a haunt gift shop that consisted of more than just T-shirts and stickers. We also sampled some food options. This was the biggest disappointment of the night. We ordered mini donuts and were told the flavors. We ordered the apple cider flavor and the pumpkin spice flavor. We were disappointed the find they were sad plain donuts with different flavors sugar coatings. We would not buy these again. Overall an amazing place with quality sets and actors. Fairly priced and loads of fun. This is a great place to get a quick spooky fix that won’t eat up your entire evening!

First time going, Friday 10/3. Definitely a smaller attraction space than Fear Farm for example, located in the parking lot of Superstition Mall. There were 2 haunted houses, Sanctum of Horror and the Breach. You can tell the organizers put the effort and care into the prop setup, story telling, and the actors did a wonderful job!! They did a great job spacing out groups, so me and my friend had the opportunity to enter both houses just the two of us. Couple of cute booths with toys, shirts, and snacks to visit on the scaregrounds, and they had a super awesome drummer in the center of it all. He did a great job playing Blind by Korn!! Will definitely be coming back next year!! This was way better than Fear Farm

As someone who always loved Halloween, I was looking forward to go to this haunted house. When I went to Sanctum of Horror this year for the first time, it was amazing. It was better than I expected; the scare actors in the parking lot and the actors inside of the haunted house itself were entertaining and professional. Additionally, there was a drummer who was playing in the background for the people in the parking lot to keep the area live and festive. (Me and my friend had also talked to the actors and they would sometimes respond, either while sounding like they are continuing their role, responding without actually talking by using physical gestures, or by giving back a humorous retort). The props used and the background scenery looked impressive and was definitely worth the money spent. I would be more than happy to come back again.

Decent setup but missing balance and real scares Overall, Sanctum of Horror had solid visuals and effort in the set design, but the experience felt off. The biggest disappointment was that every actor except one was female, and the one male actor with the chainsaw ended up being the only genuinely scary part of the whole night. The rest felt more theatrical than terrifying. Another thing that really threw off the atmosphere was the live drum performance while waiting in line between the two haunted houses. The guy was talented, but he was playing really loud classic rock songs like Crazy Train, KISS, and Ozzy Osbourne. It completely killed the spooky vibe and made it feel more like a rock concert than a haunted experience. Some eerie background music or horror sound effects would have fit the theme so much better. The overall tone also felt a little strange, with a subtle “men are the enemy” energy throughout. One of the actresses even made a comment toward my boyfriend that felt unnecessary and kind of out of place. It made the whole thing feel more like a gender statement than a true horror experience. The attraction would be much scarier with more variety in the cast, more balance, and more intensity throughout. The chainsaw guy absolutely carried the show, but there should have been a few more like him both inside and walking around the venue. All in all, not bad, worth doing once, but definitely not one of the scariest haunted houses in the area.

Tonight was my first time there and I was pleasantly surprised. There are only two haunted houses but they were well done. The props, design, and the actors were amazing. Looked at the art prints from Parker Weston and bought a few. We had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend checking it out.
