This stay was amazing. I can't say enough about how lovely the hotel was. It's a cozy spot with charm. The people who work there are wonderful and very helpful, I had a perfect stay with no issues. The owners are wonderful people who I was able to meet while I was there and added a net positive to my experience. The restaurant is delicious, we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The country fried steak is amazing for breakfast, lunch we had the grandma's meatloaf cheeseburger, dinner was the pizza. All the food was delicious. Highly recommend going here and staying for a great time.

The pizza was great and the air conditioning was cold. The service was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a nice little spot and wasn't as packed as nearby restaurants. Entering the building was like stepping back in time. It's beautiful, historical and lovely place with an outdoor patio. Definitely recommend trying it out if your in the area.

We have stayed many places and after check in, regretted the choice, so I've learned to read reviews. Our visit to Grafton was no different. I read reviews on several places and we decided that the Rubel sounded good. What we didnt realize is that th e town was a party town. We read there was a bar at the Rubel and knew it was a karaoke night the night we stayed. It turns out that while the hotel itself is very nice with comfy rooms, beds and pillows, IT IS NOT A PLACE TO STAY IF YOU WANT TO REST AND RELAX. We were kept up until the wee hours of the morning with loud music pounding through the walls. Now if your looking for a party town and a nice place to stay while enjoying the night life, THIS IS YOUR PLACE TO BE. Lisa and Tony are incredibly welcoming and make you feel at home. I dont know if every night is a party at the Rubel but it certainly was the night we stayed. Id definitely stay again IF I knew there wouldn't be loud music all night long. If you plan to stay for rest and relaxation, double check their events before booking! Other than that 5 stars!

Can't say enough great things about this place. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful (make sure to talk to them about the buildings history). Our room was VERY clean. The area is beautiful and great for wandering around, exploring, and shopping. Make sure you get a pizza from the attached bar!

Lovely building, our room was immaculate. The owners are a wonderful couple! Breakfast was fabulous, cocktails were perfect We will be back!
