Ripley's Haunted Castle Tour

We had such a great time on the Ripley’s Haunted Castle Tour! Our group was small and definitely lively. Brandon, our tour guide, kept us entertained with fascinating—and seriously spooky—stories about the castle and happily answered all of our questions. His love for the property was obvious and made the experience even more fun. We especially enjoyed exploring during the second half of the tour and wrapping up the evening with great conversation. As locals, we really appreciated the experience and had an absolute blast!

This was a great small group experience at Ripley's. Our guide, Ashton, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We only had 5 additional people on our investigation, I imagine that too many more than that could be difficult to work around (we booked on a Sunday outside of your typical high travel time of year). Excellent history to the location, I'd love to have additional investigation time as it really was quite an awesome experience if you're serious about the paranormal. I highly recommend the combo ticket so you can visit the castle during the day first and get a feel for the building and note any specific spots you might want to investigate later on, we were very glad we'd done so ourselves. Sigh.... this had great potential. The guide was great. All the staff was. The presentation of the history of the site was very well presented. And gave insight to why the Ripleys museum would even be haunted. Instructions were very clear. My only complaint is that it was wayyyyy too short. I recorded the entire time for EVP, amd I only had 45 minutes of recording. That being said, I did get poked on my right shoulder blade with No one near me. Still have to go through the audio. This would be fantastic if it was longer. 3 hours would be amazing, but even 2 hours would have been good. My husband and I do paranormal investigations fairly regularly, with a lot of success. But capturing evidence takes time. Would also be better with smaller groups.

Staff is rude and ready to end their shift. Creepy at night but absolutely nothing going on. And they wouldn't let us (paying guests) use the restrooms and started our tour 5 minutes early because they were just tired of being there. Definitely go to a different ghost investigation!

I really enjoyed it, I had Josh and Robin, and they made the experience even better with their humor, and kindness. They were both very willing, and very enthusiastic. I really enjoyed this, and will be doing it again!
