⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had such an awesome time! I’ll admit, I was already nervous before even going in — the scare actors in the midway were so good at staying in character and really set the tone. The pre-show was really interesting and did such a great job explaining what the haunt was about before stepping inside. The haunt itself was huge, and each portal was so unique with its own creative scenes and incredible detail. The actors absolutely crushed it, and everyone there was friendly and professional. You can tell they all care about giving guests a great experience. I left with my heart racing (in the best way). Definitely worth checking out!

As a newcomer on the Pittsburgh haunt scene, these guys are not to be missed! Great storytelling, detailed sets with layouts designed to bait and suprise while keeping a fluid flow of progression. A team of highly talented makeup artists, too! During the operating season, there is usually a small vendor show/stage set up in the lot near the queue so you can catch a sideshow act, buy an indie film or fx halloween piece by local talent, maybe catch some tasty homemade cookies even. Looking forward to the growth this place is bound to have AND for the release of our upcoming film, C4rousHELL, which was filmed on location inside one of the portals thanks to the kindness of the management team.

This place was great!! The boyfriend and I wanted to do something for Halloween and decided to go to this place, which neither of us have been to, to try it out. The experience was amazing. Actors don’t touch you but they’re very interactive with you and they get real close to you which I think is super if you’re looking to get scared. The tickets were also $30 per person which I believe is pretty reasonable for any haunted attraction like this. It is only a 15-20 minute walk through so a little sad it’s a bit shorter than some but my experience was great and I’d definitely come back!

This haunted house was next-level. The actors were so energetic and convincing—I never knew where the next scare was coming from. The sets were incredibly realistic and detailed, and the scares felt nonstop. They definitely got me more than once. If you love haunted houses, don’t miss this one.

Portals of Fear delivers a solid haunted attraction experience. The actors stay in character, the scares feel well-timed, and the sets are detailed enough to keep things immersive. Some sections are stronger than others, but overall it’s a fun stop if you enjoy haunted houses and want something entertaining rather than over-the-top intense.
