What a great experience! We called before hand to make sure she was on to tour. Meet at 8 right on time in her cute little cart. She was so knowledgeable about the history of the town. This was our very first ghost tour ever and I just highly recommend it. She answered any and all questions very friendly. Thank you Ms. Katie for a wonderful experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed the ghost tour in Southport. Katie is a Southport local and is very knowledgeable about the town's history and ghost history. She is super friendly and welcomes everyone of all ages.

My son, 11, my daughter, 14, and myself enjoyed Kate’s tour so much! She is so informative about history in Southport. This tour was more than worth the money. She does a great job and her Southern Belle attire added to her already charming personality. We had a great time and was blessed with perfect weather as well. We take history and ghost tours every time we visit somewhere and my son said this has been his favorite out of all. Btw… Not sure what the haze is in the cemetery photo. Noticed it later when looking through our pictures. During that time though, Kate was talking about visitors catching things in photos at this area of a women buried there.

If you are going to correct someone at least be correct. Can’t be in Southport in 1879, if he didn’t even make it to Wilmington until 1880.

This walking tour integrates Southport's rich history with the community's folklore and local legends, passed down from generation to generation. Katie is a wonderful guide and kept our group interested throughout the whole tour with her fascinating stories. Her communication was great throughout the booking process. We showed up about ten minutes before the tour, paid in cash, and were on our way right on time!
