I have gone to every mainstream haunted house in Utah (including Asylum 49 and Fear Factory). Nightmare on 13th ranks number #1 on my list. It sits right above Fear Factory but is nothing close to it. This haunted house is on an elite level. The sets are OUTSTANDING! The actors are amazing every year! They aren’t corny like most other haunted houses. And the atmosphere in general is so nostalgic. If you have the option to go to Lagoon for a full day or Nightmare on 13th during the fall season, GO TO NIGHTMARE ON 13th! It is by far the BEST attraction in the state of Utah!

Scary 👻 amazing haunted house! First time going here and really enjoyed it. It's an amazing place with great merch and also not to expensive. We paid $23 for 30 minutes which was so worth it! Highly recommend coming here!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had high expectations going into Nightmare on 13th—and let me say, we were absolutely blown away! Hands down, this is one of the highest quality haunts we’ve ever experienced. The sets are nothing short of breathtaking. The level of detail and scale create an otherworldly sense of immersion, transporting you into truly cinematic environments. Nightmare on 13th features some of the most impressive animatronics and uniquely themed scenes we’ve seen anywhere. At times, it genuinely felt like we were stepping into a movie. The actors were fantastic—fully in character, engaging without overdoing the chatter, and perfectly synced with the sets around them. The costumes and masks were top-tier and added to the overall realism. One of our favorite aspects of any haunt is the physical interactivity and tactile surprises—and Nightmare delivers. You’ll crawl, duck, climb, and navigate textured, uneven terrain that keeps your senses on edge. The farm scene’s floor texture was particularly outstanding, as were several flooring elements in the asylum section! A special thank you to Phil and Lexie for your hospitality and doing what you could to enhance our experience. Your kindness and attention made a great night even better. If you’re looking for movie-quality production that brings horror to life, Nightmare on 13th is a must-visit. We also highly recommend purchasing a combo ticket and at least a fast pass to skip the lines—they can get long, and you won’t want to wait once you see what’s inside. Bonus: there are tons of great photo ops with props throughout the venue! Ratings: • Scare Factor: ★★★★★ • Lighting: ★★★★★ • Props: ★★★★★ • Special Effects: ★★★★★ • Group Spacing: ★★★★½ • Sound/Music: ★★★★★ • Actors: ★★★★★ • Costumes: ★★★★★ • Staff: ★★★★★ Don’t miss out on this incredible haunt—Nightmare on 13th is an unforgettable experience from start to finish!

One of the best in town if not the best. Waiting lines were long but went by fast. The new effects that they added are great. I do miss the old show while waiting but the new visuals are good too. The scares were fun and also scary. Groups were separated to give time for the flights.

As far as Nightmare on 13th, a perfect 10 for 10! Beautiful Job creating scares in Environment & Characters. Their second attraction, Institute of Terror, not so much. While the first couple scenes there were good scares, the rest of it was Pitch Black Darkness. Was bumping into walls, getting frustrated with where we're going, me & my girlfriend decided to just leave early out of that. Would have been good if they added blinking lights here & there to help us. Other than that, good attraction. Let's improve on the Institute of Terror guys! 😊✌️
