Our bridal shower at the Molly Brown House Museum was absolutely wonderful. We chose the private tour and tea package, and it was the perfect blend of elegance and history. A massive thank you goes to Mike Erickson, the Volunteer and Event Manager. From the initial planning stages to the day of the event, Mike was incredible. He was a prompt communicator, highly organized, and so thoughtful with every detail. It is clear he takes great pride in his work, and he truly went above and beyond to make the day special for our group. Before tea, we had a private tour with Eli, who was outstanding. She was engaging and her passion for the house and its history really showed. She kept us all captivated with stories about Margaret Brown's life and legacy. The museum itself is a true gem. It is immaculately cared for and beautifully curated to reflect the time period. We hosted our tea in the third-floor servant quarters, which is an inviting room full of character. It provided a unique atmosphere that made the event feel truly one-of-a-kind. If you are looking for a venue with deep history and charm, this is not to be missed!

I highly recommend visiting the Molly Brown House Museum if you want to experience the substantive legacy of a true paradigm of social justice. While many recognize Margaret Brown for her survival of the Titanic, I find her tireless activism and humanitarian efforts to be her most archetypal contributions to history. On this scenario, you are not just touring a Victorian mansion; you are walking through the headquarters of a woman who instigated real change. Margaret was deeply intertwined with the suffrage movement, even running for the U.S. Senate in 1914 before women had the national right to vote. Her commitment to labor reform—particularly her support for miners and their families after the Ludlow Massacre—highlights her pragmatic approach to alleviating the inadequacies of her time. In my opinion, the most impactful part of the tour is learning how she utilized her home as a Jane Addams Hull House for wayward girls, and how she subsequently worked with Judge Ben Lindsey to help establish the juvenile justice system. Consequently, her life story provides a clear roadmap for how one person can leverage their influence to support inventive solutions for societal challenges. ▫️ Fascinating insights into her work with the Denver Woman’s Club and the Denver Dumb Friends League. ▫️ Detailed history of her leadership during the Titanic disaster and her role as president of the Titanic Survivors' Committee. ▫️ Professional and informational docents who emphasize her global humanitarian efforts during WWI. ▫️ A powerful look at Denver’s first major historic preservation project. #MollyBrownHouse #SocialJustice #ActivistsOfHistory #DenverHistory #Humanitarian #UnsinkableMargaretBrown #HistoricPreservation #DenverMuseums

Bought a Art Culture Pass that was good for 3 days & 7-8 places for $42. Such a great bargain - don't miss it! We took a self-guided tour of this magnificent house. So much to read & see. It offers a wonderful glimpse into the people who lived there, the culture, and history of those times. She was an amazing woman that I would have been proud to call a friend!

Learning about Margaret Brown — her resilience, philanthropy, and impact on Denver — was both inspiring and empowering. The guided tour was engaging, informative, and thoughtfully presented, bringing each room and story to life. The architectural details and period furnishings make you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time. Whether you love history, architecture, or strong stories of remarkable women, this museum is a must-visit in Denver. Highly recommend!
