It wasn't opened when we're there but being able to just experience seeing it was amazing

I've gotten to see the LaLaurie Mansion a few times (twice with a ghost tour, a couple more times just to show friends) It's so cool to see such a crazy part of history. I didn't go inside nor do I believe it's open to the public but it's beautiful and exciting to see in person!

Cool place to read about then walk by. Very spooky and a little eerie. I cant believe the amount of torture that took place here. Wild wild.

To get the full experience make sure you pick a NOLA tour that has this as a stop. It's a private residence so you can't go inside but the building is full of history. Wouldn't recommend walking under the balcony, things can happen, especially if you're more in tune.
