Many historic houses. Excellent herb garden and veggies. We weren't there when there was a docent available. Playground nearby is larger. Bathrooms available. And the nearby carousel and butterfly house make it quite a destination.

It was a wonderful experience for my 93 year old mother, my sister, my husband, and myself. The butterflies were naturally amazing. The park itself was beautifully maintained, the staff was patient, professional, and so very helpful as my mother needed to borrow the wheelchair. Thank you so much for a priceless experience!

So much to do and pet friendly in most places . Somewhat inexpensive way to spend a weekend. Make sure you check out everything !!! The Butterfly house is a can't miss

Well kept park with playground and restrooms. There is a carousal and butterfly area. These area are CLOSED in the month of January for annual cleaning/maintenance. I was able to stroll the path through the living history museum buildings and read the markers. Very interesting! Tours are available for the inside of the buildings. You’ll need to check the park website to find out what days/weekends they are open. Loved the fairy trail! Such a cute place to wander.

This is a very pretty park with lots of great photography spots! Being pet friendly is a huge bonus! We did photos of my cat here. 💕
