Visited Rural Hill for their Corn Maze Sunday afternoon! I had never been to a corn maze before , so this was an adventure for me . Our neighbors and my wife and I traveled to Huntersville NC to do the activities there . We played the Kernel B. Cobb’s Word Game , picture find and Poppie’s word Jumble as we transgressed the maze ! Lot’s of family fun !! They had pumpkins and food items for purchase. It got a little hot in the corn maze , but we all had a great time ! Take a water bottle with you while in the maze . Thanks for an exciting afternoon adventure in the Corn!!🌽 So if you and your loved ones are looking for some adventure one afternoon then go try out Rural Hill Nature Preserve in Huntersville NC .

Great place to kayak, short paddle from Neck rd put in. Fabulous wildlife viewing. Way to shallow for anything but kayak. Not extensive but I can spend a few hours watching the egrets and floating along in the peace and quiet.

This family farm is beautiful. We had such a great time with the maze. Took us about an hour to get through. They give you a puzzle with it where you collect pieces so it kind of forces you to get through the maze which is super fun. It's really well kept. At the end of it, we got to enjoy some ice cream and feed the highland cattle.

Rural hills is a beautiful old small farmstead that hosts weddings, sheepdog trials the Highland games and more. Walk around a bit on the property and you may see the Highland cows. When you pull out of the property make sure you take a right and look at that beautiful old cemetery. The rock fence is beautiful!
