Great place if you love history, especially for families with kids. Lots of area and places for kids to run around and play. Village has lots of buildings to go in and see what life was like through the stores of the reinactors. Definitely a worthwhile stop. Paths throughout village can be hard to navigate in stroller or wheelchair since they are gravel and have small hills.

Beautiful early American town restoration. Very educational. Lots of activities for smaller children 3-10 both educational and fun. Great walking trails and very friendly staff and actors. A definite must visit especially with children.

2 year old had fun as did the rest of the family. Beautiful outdoor setting as well as interesting indoors. The balloon ascension is a bonu!

Headless Horseman Absolutely loved this event! My family and I had an amazing time! We didn’t get to do everything they had to offer, there was so much! We absolutely loved the Marinette show, the magic show and the fire throwers. Of course the headless horseman wagon ride stole the show! That was so much fun! The food was some of the best! I wished I had filmed the marionette and magic show, it was also like a comedy show in addition to each one. We are looking forward to coming again next year!!!! 100% worth the cost of tickets! Thank you to everyone who made this happen! Everyone did an amazing job! The food vendors were awesome too!

A super interactive historic village. A must see if you are in the Midwest and are into live history museums. Very well cared for and lots of activities to see and do.
