We went on a Saturday, got there at 7:15ish stood in line for the combo tickets for hayride and haunted house for over 2 hours. The hayride was maybe 14 minutes. It was entertaining, but not scary. Everyone was laughing. The haunted house was short and not great, not sure if I’ll go back to the haunted house.

OK tons of fun for Halloween without being over the top scary. I took my 12-year-old son and a couple of his buddies and we did the hayride and the Bayou. Definitely enough scary stuff to keep it fun without being gross or nightmarish. The actors are definitely committed to their roles! Parking is easy and there are refreshments if you’re early enough. We got the two packs including the “fast passes,” which I don’t think we necessarily needed—Maybe it depends on how early you go. We got there around 8pm and the lines were pretty short anyway. This is a great spot for older kids (teens will only make fun of it) like 7-13 yo.

*Adding my main point to the top so it doesn't get missed: The thing I like best about this event is that it's done *mostly* by young adults/teens and young children. I found out that they do the costumes, makeup, and the acting. They do a great job overall! You can tell some of the kids really take it seriously and others don't but the kids under 16 do this purely for fun. It's nice to see kids being creative and having a good time. I have been going annually for the last few years and I always do the combo for the Hayride and Curse of the Bayou. The Hayride is definitely best for young children or those who scare very easily. For most adults or horror enthusiasts, this likely won't be as entertaining for you but I still think it's enjoyable. The walk-through-the-woods Curse of the Bayou is a bit more scary. Being out in the open wooded area is creepy and I've always gotten jump-scared multiple times. This is more than I can say for some other haunted houses that push so many people through at once or in very short increments so that you end up catching up to another group and your scares get ruined bc you can see them up ahead. This year specifically, the maze they had was really good! Definitely took a wrong turn a couple of times and got scared by an actor.

Update 2021, I would categorize the whole attraction as a family friendly event. Actors are walking around sneaking up on you while waiting in lines. The hayride is just a hayride that has various spots with sets and actors approaching the ride and sometimes boarding it walking around the people on the ride. This has a low level scare factor but like I said it's family friendly. The Curse of the Bayou is a little better than the hayride. You walk down a dark trial and go through various sets with actors and at the end you enter a maze house where you need to find your way out. The hole house has no roof so the entire attraction is outside so take that into consideration when you are planning to go. In my opinion the curse of the Bayou was to short. This year they have a new attraction called buried alive! In this attraction you pay $5 to lay in a real coffin with the lid closed while a scenario plays out that only you can hear when inside. The coffin rocks jumps and shakes while you are inside. I thought it was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend this as long as you are not claustrophobic or anything like that. Overall it is a fun attraction for all ages.

This place is amazing! I love how there are 2 separate attractions. The hayride is definitely geared towards a younger crowd, not terrifying, just a little spooky, perfect for kids! The actors REALLy commit! The Bayou is geared towards a more mature crowd and let me tell you, I almost jumped out of my skin a few times! Make up and costumes were phenomenal in both attractions!
