Best amusement park in the area. We drive about 4 hours to get there and it's definitely worth it. If you are going to the ammusment park, as you drive in, make sure to be in the right hand lane, the left hand lane will get directed to the wayer park or hotel. We bought tickets the night before to make sure the weather was going to be good, this makes entering the park a breeze, they just scan your tickets on your phone. When you first get to the park, look to the left for the One Stop Redemption Center, here is were you pickup your fast pass, food, and or drink wristbands. The drink wristband is a great value. If you like to take sit down rest breaks and meals, and hit all the rides get the fast pass plus. We had the fast pass but after waiting in line and feeling like we were melting in the heat, we went to guest services and upgraded to the fast pass plus. We rode Blue streak 2x, Valraven 4x, Gatekeeper 4x, Max air, Marvrick, Magnum, Cork screw, Big creek mine, Top thrill 2, power tower, Mellinium, Thunder Canyon 3x, Gemini, iron dragon and the tall swing. Pizza at Hugo's was good, the dough was thick, they offer salads as well, seating was inside. For dinner we had burgers from Frontire Inn, the burgers, fries, sald and big pikel wear fantastic, seating was outside. We did this all in one day, if I could of had two days I would recommend staying in a hotel and going to their Waterpark the other day.

And there was a Waterpark to help cool down in the hundreds of degrees F weather. The Pavillion also had yummy food! Keep on, Keepin' on, cedar point! We will see you in 2027 !

Cedar Point absolutely lived up to the hype! The park was clean, well-organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day. The roller coasters were incredible—there’s something for everyone, from family rides to adrenaline-pumping thrill rides. The food options were better than expected, and despite the crowds, the lines moved fairly efficiently. We made unforgettable memories and can’t wait to come back. If you’re looking for an exciting day filled with fun, laughter, and world-class rides, Cedar Point is definitely worth the trip!

Amazing place for the family! Rides for everyone and perfect accessibility for people who need it (if you need it go to guest services near entrance of the park) pretty good prices and amazing places to go if raining! Love their merch and hotels near by. (+ the water park has amazing slides and pool’s to cool off for good prices)

Nestled in the stunning town of Sandusky, Ohio, overlooking the breathtaking Lake Erie, is an absolute must-visit: Cedar Point Amusement Park! Today was a day we had been eagerly anticipating as we took our 14-year-old son, who has been dreaming of this adventure for as long as I can remember. We traveled all the way from the Boston area as part of the US WarDogs America 250 tour a fantastic military baseball tour that raises awareness of PTSD and honors our heroes with a touching flag ceremony dedicated to local veterans and Gold Star families. Meeting these incredible individuals and their families was profoundly moving we felt truly honored to recognize those who sacrificed so much for our freedom. To the families of those who didn’t make it home, please know they will always be remembered and cherished in our hearts and prayers.
The tour culminated on the 4th of July, celebrating America’s 250th birthday a spectacular milestone that we were thrilled to witness together! Afterward, my family caught the Guardians vs. White Sox game at Progressive Field, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Every seat offered a fantastic view, the crowd was electric, and the staff were all-stars! And oh, the fireworks display post game was simply epic what a fabulous way to cap off an unforgettable day!
Now, back to Cedar Point! I spent the day watching my son conquer some of the most thrilling roller coasters imaginable—definitely not for the faint of heart! As a protective mom, I kept my eyes closed and prayed for each ride to end safely, but watching his joy was priceless. Each time he stepped off a ride, he was met with cheers and smiles, proudly wearing that “I just conquered this ride” grin.
I finally mustered the courage to join him on the Wild Mouse, and what a blast we had! The staff there were phenomenal huge shout-outs to Vanessa, Aris, Jessi, and Aiden for their amazing energy and friendliness. They made our experience even more enjoyable, sharing laughs and stories that added to the fun. I also met Marissa from Mexico, whose infectious smile and warm spirit made our ride even brighter. And although I can’t recall the name of another wonderful young man I met at the railroad crossing, his story and resilience truly impressed me. He’s destined for greatness, and I hope he knows how proud I am of him for all he’s accomplished!
As a final note, I’m a huge fan of carnival games! I love the thrill of trying to win those oversized stuffed animals, despite my son’s belief that they’re just money wasters. At one game, I had the chance to win a gigantic turtle, shark, or stingray by knocking over containers with a wiffle ball. I bought three tries for $10 and was eager to show off my skills! The little boy next to me was excitedly watching, and when I managed to knock down all three containers on my second shot, his eyes lit up!
In a moment of excitement and hopefulness for this young man , I let him take my last shot since even though I had won I still paid for three attempts. I also knew I couldn’t take home a giant turtle on the plane. He gave it his all and, and his family bought him three more tries as well. To my delight, won that enormous turtle that just so happened couldn’t make it back to Boston and really needed a home with lots of love. That turtle was bigger than him! His face lit up with pure joy, and seeing that smile made my heart soar. What an incredible day filled with unforgettable moments! Thank you Cedar Point for amazing memories. Happy Birthday America and sweet dreams to the little boy and his turtle.
