Was definitely an experience, not one the site and others led me to believe, thats for sure. Spent 2 hours sitting in 2 rooms, neither of which was the actual orphanage. Got told alot of stories and a history lesson about certain historical people but that's about it. It was rather disappointing. Only explored the orphanage itself for about 15, 20 minutes.

Interesting place. The tour guide was amazing. Her name is Crissy, not sure if I spelled it correctly but she was amazing. Very knowledgeable. Well worth seeing.

It was an amazing tour and rich in history I would buy tickets ahead of time.

Visited on a ghost tour through Gettysburg Ghost Images at night. Definately recommend their two-house lights out tour. My husband and I experienced a few inexplicable things. Energy of this place is definately "heavy".

This was our second time touring the orphanage. Very weird experience with our tour guide the “gravedigger.” We were expecting a ghost tour with ghost stories not a history lesson on courting, choosing a wife and how to treat a child with tetanus. Oh and don’t forget his ex wife. Each one of these stories drug on and on and took up 90% of the tour. We couldn’t wait to it to be over. Luckily since we already toured it years ago we knew the stories of Rosa and the children. Sadly, we were hoping to hear more of those. I think Rosa’s name was mentioned once near the end. On my next tour here I will be making sure we don’t get him again.
