The story
Gateway's Haunted Playhouse is a professional haunted house attraction featuring a new theme, path and characters each year, utilizing theatrical designers and staff from The Gateway, Long Island’s oldest professional theatre. It features an outdoor nightmare carnival Midway with food, drinks, and attractions.

I am new to this theater. This was my second show and it was fantastic. The staff were friendly and the show was great. I love West Side Story. The actors were amazing and all had amazing voices! I bought tickets for 2 other shows. Can't wait to see them. The theater was packed for a Matinee, so great to see.

West Side Story was fantastic. The professional singing, acting, and orchestra were super special. While the theater is in the middle of a major renovation, everything went very smoothly. We loved the new seats! I have been attending live theater at The Gateway Playhouse for over 30 years and I never been disappointed. I can't wait to get tickets to Funny Girl and Harry Chapin!! Come From Away is going to spectacular!! These events are Broadway quality--from the performers to the set design.

Absolutely love this theater! We've been a member for over 25 years! Never disappointed! Professional theater on Long Island! Just saw Ain't to Proud! Story about the musical group Temptations!Absolutely fabulous!!

Cast was outstanding. Stage set was excellent. Loved the ability to sit outside. Restrooms were clean and staff assistance was appreciated. Only downside was that, being short, It was difficult to see fully see the stage since the seats had no upward angle. Also, the seats are so close and the cupholders made it difficult to people to pass without completely having us to move into the aisle. Otherwise, great experience. Also appreciated having an ample parking lot.

The Full Monty is a great show! It is funny and yet touches your heart. The cast is amazing! I am always impressed with the shows they do at Gateway but the Full Monty is pure perfection.
