If you're looking for a unique way to explore Frederick, Maryland, the Ghost Tour of Frederick is an absolute must. As someone who’s lived in Maryland for years, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I learned during this tour. It’s not just spooky fun—it’s a deep dive into the rich and sometimes eerie history of this charming town. The tour is entertaining, educational, and full of personality. Our guide was engaging and knowledgeable, weaving together ghost stories with historical facts that brought Frederick’s past to life. Stops like Barbara Fritchie’s House, and the beautifully lit City Hall at night added a dramatic and authentic backdrop to the tales being told. One of the highlights was seeing murals and historic signs that I’ve passed by countless times, now illuminated with new meaning thanks to the stories behind them. Even as a longtime Maryland resident, I walked away with a deeper appreciation for Frederick’s role in American history—and a few goosebumps too. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this tour is a fantastic way to experience Frederick in a whole new light. Highly recommended for history buffs, ghost story lovers, and anyone looking for a fun night out!

WOW. Had an incredible experience on this ghost tour. Have never done one before, so this was my first experience and did not know what to expect. I was blown away. The tour guides, knowledge and storytelling ability was top-notch. He was so into it, which made it even better. Great for any size group anywhere in the area too as well. Can’t say enough good things must check out for yourself.

We had the best time! A fun activity to do as a family of 4 (kids ages 13 and 10). Not too scary, but scary enough. We learned a little about the history of Frederick too which was extra special being from Frederick County. Ron had so much information to share and did it in a way that really kept you engaged and entertained. He is great at what he does! You wont regret doing this tour. Have already recommended to several friends and other family! 👻

The tour is full of historical information about Frederick and our tour guide was so passionate about his work. The way he told us the stories was like a performance and I would recommend it to anyone! Not kids of course!

A great way to spend an evening in Frederick! The tour guide was awesome and did a wonderful job recounting some of the cities creeper stories. He was incredibly engaging and did an expert job weaving his stories through a busy Saturday night downtown. The tour is a fun way to learn about the city and get a nice tour of the area. I definitely enjoyed hearing all the spooky stories of this very fascinating town.
