Founding Footsteps Ghost Tour

Never had a tour full of laughs, knowledge and beautiful scenery, as I had with Founding Footsteps. The music was great. The atmosphere was inviting. Learning different things about Philly was educational. Learning different stuff unrelated to historical events was fun. People walking around waving at us. People driving cars honking at us was so much fun. Cheering our trolley, us cheering back. Stopping at different places for pictures. Outstanding seeing the city at night. Our trolley driver was excellent! So smooth and easy. You couldn’t even tell you were on the city streets. Our tour guide Jon (aka-The Philly Captain) is hysterical, very informative, highly interactive and extremely likable. He took the time with anyone who had a question or comment. Also at the end of the tour he thanked everyone individually. The driver and guide were so friendly and helpful. We all sang songs, clapped our hands and laughed. Highly impressed! Definitely recommend! Oh and the company truly is amazing. I had an issue and they were totally accommodating. I can’t say enough about Founding Footsteps Tours!

John was an excellent tour guide. Knew a lot about the history of Philadelphia and explained it interestingly! We covered a lot of historic places in 1.5 hours. Enjoyed the tour a lot. It was extremely hot on the day we went but can’t blame the tour company for that. John found shade whenever possible.

The tour was great. I learned a lot about Philadelphia history and in a fun way! Tim was such an energetic tour guide. He was funny and friendly. We enjoyed his jokes and knowledge. I would definitely do another tour with him!

My girlfriend and I are visiting Philly for a concert, we had free time and booked a tour. We had an amazing time! Nick was such a funny tour host and we learned so much about this fun city. Highly Recommend!

We were very pleased with our Founding Father Footstep Tour. The tour touched on stops we may have overlooked if we were on our own. Our guide John was extremely knowledgeable about all the stops. He provided so much insight into the story of a historical marker or building, helping us understand why it is significant to the history of Philadelphia. We never felt rushed to get the next stop and John took time to answer questions or allow for people to take pictures. This tour was fun and enlightening. Very happy we selected this tour for our first introduction to Philadelphia.
