Great experience! The drive in is lovely! The staff is very informative and interactive. We stopped and discussed the making of period clothing with a young lady who was sewing a pair of stays. The displays are innumerable and well-done. There are a lot of stairs. We went to the King's Gardens also. They are in bloom right now. The walled garden should not be missed. The Pell Summerhouse is gorgeous. There are no tours of the house, but it's beautiful to look at. The whole property is amazing!

For many years, I taught U.S. History and shared the story of Fort Ticonderoga with my students through textbooks, maps, and historical accounts. In 2011, I had the unique opportunity to visit Fort Ticonderoga in person and experience its history firsthand. Walking the grounds where so many important events of the Revolutionary War unfolded brought the stories to life in a way that no classroom lesson could. Seeing the fort, the surrounding landscape, and the historical reenactments gave me a deeper appreciation for its significance and allowed me to connect more personally with the history I had taught for so many years.

It was fun. The tour and cannon demo were interesting and informative. The employees were helpful. Their outfits were made there by employees and were authentic to the period. It was kind of expensive though, $30 a person.

Lots to see and do at this stone fort and it's surroundings. Nice museum with z lot of artifacts. The reenactors did a good job presenting a day in the life 250 years ago.

Very cool place to get some great history of the wars that have taken place in this area and how the fort was used. Reenactment staff is extremely knowledgeable so make sure you do the free organized tours. Musket and cannon demonstrations are very detailed and daily. Many bronze cannons here from the 1700s btw so look at the dates on the barrels if your into that kind of thing.
