A group of us came for a friend's birthday party and we had an absolute blast! The scenes were on point! The actors' timing: perfect. The costumes: phenomenal. S WAS AMAZINGLY SCARY! I'd do this haunt Over and over, and enjoy it every time.

Great Atmosphere, Strong Actors, But Still Room for More
Factory of Fear was overall a pretty solid haunt experience. The biggest positive for me was the length — it definitely felt longer than most haunted houses, which I appreciated. That being said, for the price, I still found myself wishing it was just a little longer or that the space was utilized a bit more creatively. To be fair, from what you can see in the background, they may already be using all the room they have available.
The actors and actresses overall did a great job. The scare saturation was consistent throughout the attraction, and the scenes themselves were very well built. One thing this haunt does really well is transitions. You get smooth movement from one scene into the next, and the lull periods between scares are placed perfectly. Instead of constant chaos, it builds tension naturally and pulls you deeper into the experience.
The environments also felt cohesive. Nothing seemed out of place, and each room had its own identity while still fitting the overall theme. The swamp section especially stood out visually. One thing I think could make that area even better would be adding some kind of creature or actor moving underneath the low-lying fog. I understand how difficult that effect probably is to maintain, and having someone crawling around under it could ruin the illusion, but if they could somehow make it work, it would add a really creepy element.
My other complaint is with some of the actor interactions. A few of them would just stand there silently staring at you, almost like you walked in on them doing something they weren’t supposed to be doing. It would’ve been much more immersive if they whispered, chanted, muttered things, or tried to draw you into the scene. Don’t just look at me like a generic slasher villain — make me feel like I’m walking into a ritual or something truly unsettling.
The blackout maze was also kind of niche, but honestly still well done and added variety to the experience.
Overall, Factory of Fear has a lot going for it: great scene design, solid pacing, and good scare consistency. With a little more actor interaction and a few added details to increase immersion, it could easily become an even stronger haunt.

Drove from PA to come to this haunted attraction!
Was up in Iowa visiting friends and decided to give this a shot.
Lines were a little long at 7p, and progressively got worse, so I HIGHLY recommend getting there early. However, the line moved fast and we didn't have to wait more than 20 minutes to get in.
Awesome atmosphere while waiting in line that really set the scene for everything.
Both parts took about an hour to get through. Actors were amazing! Props were really cool and actually kind of scary! It was absolutely worth the money and wait. I already plan to come back next year!!

Amazing place! Dedicated actors, fun themes, and wonderful layout! The off-season events are as much fun as the Halloween season events!
