About Evil Intentions Haunted House

has relocated to Forsaken Hollow in, giving the established Chicagoland haunt a larger setting for its newest chapter. The destination combines a roughly 20,000-square-foot indoor haunted house with an outdoor corn trail and a midway, allowing guests to experience multiple styles of horror in one . Live actors, detailed environments, lighting, sound, fog and practical effects create a more immersive experience than a single indoor. The midway adds food, games and additional Halloween atmosphere before or after the main attractions. Evil Intentions has long been known among Chicago-area haunt fans for its darker industrial style, and the move to gives the production room to expand while keeping the intense, actor-driven approach associated with the brand.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Evil Intentions is one of those rare haunts that gets under your skin in the best way possible. The property itself is massive and extremely open—so much so that it tricks your mind into feeling like you’re safe. That false sense of security is part of the genius here, because once you get inside, that openness starts to shrink away little by little. The first stop is the DJ barn. At first, it feels like a party—music, energy, wide-open space—but don’t be fooled. Underneath the fun is this creeping sense that you’re being herded, almost like cattle being led to the slaughter. It’s unsettling in a way that sticks with you. Once the “party” ends, you’re pushed straight into the maze. The towering corn stalk walls close in on you, stretching into what feels like an eternity of winding paths. The dread of not knowing when or where someone might come charging out is absolutely nerve-wracking. It’s a raw, primal kind of fear that indoor haunts just can’t replicate. And just when you think you’re through the worst of it—you hit what we called “the House.” Claustrophobic, confining, and relentless, it forces you into close-quarters scares that make every step feel like a mistake. What makes Evil Intentions stand out is that it’s not a cookie-cutter haunt with flashy bells and whistles. Instead, it leans into raw atmosphere and realism that makes you question whether you made the right decision stepping inside. That rare feeling of genuine dread is something very few haunts can deliver, and Evil Intentions nails it. On top of the scares, two things deserve special mention: the tacos and the staff. We didn’t eat the tacos until we got back to our hotel room—and instantly regretted waiting, because they were amazing. We would’ve bought more on the spot if we had tried them earlier. And the staff? Hands down some of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met at a haunt. Now in a new location, Evil Intentions feels like it’s only just getting started. We can’t wait to see how it grows and what new elements they add each coming year. This is the kind of haunt you could easily turn into a tradition of coming back to every season. This attraction is unique, passionate, and built with tremendous effort to deliver something different. If you’re looking for a haunt that will give you full-body chills and an experience you’ll be talking about long after—it’s this one. Absolutely go support them. You won’t regret it!

Overall ok. But not worth for the extra price. I ended up getting VIP thinking we will get pass the general admission but I was wrong. Yes u advance a lil faster but when all forms of pay entry(General admission/VIP/Instant Access) get to the actual haunted house after the cornfield maze there's still another wait line mixed with everyone of all forms of entry payment. Disappointed I paid extra and in the end was grouped with a larger crowd going into the house to no avail.

3.8/5. I had a fun time at the new location tonight. Driving over there was awesome cause it’s truly in the middle of nowhere. Not many haunts have that vibe in the Chicago land area so me and my friend got hyped about that. The cornfield part was honestly my favorite part. The first chainsaw guy and the twins got us good and it’s hard to fully get us. Definitely gonna be cool to see evil intentions slowly add to the cornfield kinda like what abandoned and screamin acres for example have done. But for what it was its was awesome walking in the chilly night not knowing what was gonna come next. Walking up the house was super cool. There’s was no turning back there lol The house overall was decent. I think it would’ve been better if they didn’t pair us up with a large group behind them when it was just me and a friend. It wasn’t a super busy night at the time so I believe they totally could’ve let us go just us. So part of the haunt was ruined cause of there goofiness. Thankfully they went farther away so we can enjoy the rest. But besides that there’s definitely lots of room to improve. Great scenes and actors. This haunt def has a chance to be very good. 100% not worth the price tag as of right now but I know one day it will be!

I don’t even know where to start with my review of this place, but it gonna be a long one. We do the 2 hour drive every single year because it is a MUST stop for us. We went opening weekend and because we are also haunt actors so we talked about the struggles with not having enough actors, but you would not be able to tell. We went 09/27/2025; the corn maze was a little low on actors, which is expected because it’s hard to keep outdoor actors, but the ones in there did not let it get them down. They kept the energy up. But the house was the absolute best. Upon entering, we were ordered to bow; and know what we did? We got on our knees and bowed. Once we started walking through the house we started hearing about Gideon; and how we have to worship Gideon to be saved. Because we love playing apart of the story, we definitely went back and forth with the actors and bowed every time we were told too. But the best part about it? The story never stopped. It did not matter where we went in the house, the story continued; which is AMAZING in a haunt. The actors were so energetic, and they didn’t get mad, or break character when it came to us going back and forth and heckling with the actors. The scenery was flawless, and the transitions between rooms and scenes were so smooth. You didn’t even realize you were in the transition hallway until you were already in the next scene. You can tell that the owners truly love what they do and express it in the way the haunt is built. I will always recommend Evil Intentions as a must-experience haunt every single year. It’s truly been an amazing experience and we will Be coming back again later in the season to experience it all over again.

Love the actors and all the creativity that goes along with it. The new sets are amazing! They definitely got me good a few times! Loved sitting outside at the picnic tables with the food truck to enjoy a beautiful fall evening.
