We have our family reunion here. There are trails here for walking and you can go to the top of the tower for spectacular views of the valley! Very relaxing!

Very nice state park lots of beautiful views and history and nice little hiking trails for beginners or seasoned hikers. I’ll definitely be back to hike there again soon.

If you're on the fence about moving to West Virginia and need a deciding factor, this is it. This place is absolutely breathtaking, and no picture can encapsulate the true beauty that is West Virginia. Visit Droop Mountain. Also, just as an FYI, I dont think I heard a single local pronounce the "P" at the end of Droop, so if youre asking for directions, keep that in mind.
