Best Halloween fun I've ever had ! I extremely recommended it . the actors are great and the set ups and displays are top notch! Fair prices and a blast for the whole family.

COVID took this place down hard. It was no where near as good as last year and that's to be expected to some point but this was just sad. Also, you're encouraged to buy tickets online and to not shoe up until that time. My tickets were for 7pm (when they opened) and I verified with the ticket guy that's how it was supposed to work. When we showed back up at 7 there were at least 20 people in line who'd just walked up and bought tickets. If you can just walk up and get in line, what's the point of the times on the online tickets? Makes zero sense. None.

Me and my fiancé had a blast, very unique and unusual features. I wanted to go for a second time. It was long too. I’m from PA and haunted houses are big there, this definitely was up to my standards! The actors were awesome. Even gave us free candy kabobs. I Will definitely return.

This was a great time! Couple things to keep in mind. We did have to wait in line,but it moved swiftly and there was other "entertainment" to see as we waited. Total wait of about 30 minutes on a Saturday. The costumes and characters were fantastic! Lots of details in the manor house and impressive special effects for our little area. If you love Halloween this is a must! Scary with a good mix of humor.

Halloween is my favorite time of year so I always make a stop here when I visit home in October. After experiencing haunted houses in 6 different states this is still one that I visit over and over again. The storylines are always enjoyable and though they don't usually scare me I appreciate that all of the actors try really hard. I will say though, they got me this year!!! The 3D Mind Maze is an awesome continuation of the experience and I hope that never goes away. It's been really cool in the past how they get actors from well-known shows like American Horror Story to come out and sign autographs, etc. They did a haunted escape room a few years ago that was really cool. I'm kind of bummed they got rid of the photographer but I only ever bought those pictures once. This year is notable, to me, because my boyfriend and I were visiting from Iowa and I didn't realize that Darkwood had moved strictly to online sales only. I explained to the lady at the ticket booth that we were visiting from 15 hours away and she sold us her last promotional tickets so that I could show my boyfriend what I had been bragging about for months. Thanks Fraulein! He was definitely impressed and y'all got him good! This is a Halloween tradition that I will continue to experience every year.
