I visited with my husband, our 1 year old son, and our 12 year old daughter, and all four of us had a great time. The museum does an excellent job of making sure there is something for everyone. My toddler absolutely loved the area designed specifically for children 5 and under, while our daughter had no trouble finding exhibits and activities that kept her entertained throughout the day. We also attended a few of the shows offered in different exhibit areas and really enjoyed them. There is so much to see and do that you can easily spend an entire day exploring. I would definitely recommend purchasing tickets online ahead of time, as you can usually get a better deal than buying them at the door. The staff members we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. The family restrooms were clean, spacious, and stocked with free feminine hygiene products, which was a thoughtful touch. Free parking was another big plus, and the layout of the museum made it easy to navigate without feeling lost. Even the gift shop prices were more reasonable than I expected for a major attraction. The only downsides we experienced were that some areas of the museum felt quite warm, especially on certain floors, and a few exhibits could benefit from a little more supervision. In some of the busier areas, older children were shoving past smaller kids or monopolizing interactive items. My 1 year old son was knocked over twice by older children who were running through an exhibit, which was disappointing to see. I also found it a little odd that children’s tickets are priced so similarly to adult tickets. That said, considering how much there is to do, how long we spent there, and how much all four of us enjoyed ourselves, I still feel it was well worth the cost and would gladly visit again.

My mom used to bring me here when I was little and it was always a magical experience! Perfect place to bring your kids to activate their Imagination and see them light up with wonder and excitement! I took my fiancee here and it was a really fun date! He'd never been here before and I hadn't visited in years so it was very nostalgic for me and a fun new experience for him. I packed us a lunch and we ate there in the food court. Didn't get to experience the new outdoor area because it wasn't open for the season yet but it looked very cool!

Absolutely incredible experience for our family! This is by far one of the best children's museums we've ever visited. There were so many hands-on exhibits that kept our kids engaged for hours, from the dinosaur displays to the interactive learning areas. The museum was clean, well organized, and packed with activities for a wide range of ages. Every section felt like a new adventure, and there was so much to see that we easily could have spent even more time exploring. The giant dinosaur exhibit outside is an unforgettable sight, and the staff throughout the museum were friendly and helpful. If you're traveling through Indianapolis with kids, this is a must-visit destination. We made amazing family memories and would absolutely come back again!

Huge and lots of fun for the kids. The staff was very friendly and helpful, there is free parking and the amount of attractions will boggle the mind. Fun for kids of all ages and the outdoor sports area was excellent. The only problem was the prices. A small bottle of Gatorade was almost $6. It only went up from there. Oh well still worth it.

Our family absolutely loves spending time here! 🥰 Every visit feels like a new adventure for the kids. We first came during the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse exhibit 🎉 and since then we’ve kept coming back for Winterfaire ❄️ and the Paw Patrol experience 🐾. The rotating exhibits make each trip exciting and different, so it never gets boring. Getting the season pass was totally worth it — after just two visits it basically paid for itself 💯. The staff, activities, and atmosphere make this place so special for families with children. And honestly, one of the funniest bonuses is that our kids fall asleep in the car within 30 minutes after leaving 😴🚗. Highly recommend this museum to any family looking for fun, interactive, and memorable experiences! ❤️
