Our guide, Payton, was very knowledgeable about Chicago and a great storyteller. She was loud enough for our entire group to hear and it was a lovely evening to walk around the city learning about Chicago’s history with ghosts and gangsters. The meeting spot was easy to find. Drop off spot is not same location as the start, but only a few minutes walk to get back to that area. We did the 8pm tour which added to the ambiance as night fell listening to ghost stories. Highly recommend this tour.

Great tour, but with hidden fees! The tour itself was fantastic. Our guide, Braeden, did an excellent job bringing local history to life with gripping, chilling stories. Standing on the exact site of the historic theater fire tragedy was incredible. He easily earned 5 stars. I’m knocking off 2 stars because of the hidden fees. You book and pay online, yet they tack on an extra credit card fee alongside a "service fee" that was falsely listed as 1%, but was actually 3%. For a walking tour with almost zero overhead, these added fees feel like plain greed especially compared to major city attractions (Like the Architecture River Boat Cruise) that cost about the same and include everything upfront in the advertised price. My advice is just name your price. Don't add hidden fees thinking they'll go unnoticed.

If you are someone who enjoys history mixed with urban legend this is the tour for you. We covered a nice tolerable distance of about 1.5 miles. We had the opportunity to stop at the Palmer House for a adult drink break which was appreciated not only for the facilities but also the beautiful architecture. I enjoyed the stories being told by our tour guide Davey. 100% recommend this tour!

Adam was absolutely fantastic aka fireeee! 🔥 His witty exchanges made this Chicago mobster tour extra special. It was educationally packed with humorous trivia and overall just so fun- even for my ten year old son found it entertaining! Highly recommend: 10 out of 10! 🤌🏻✨

Great combination of gangster history and ghost stories! Our kids loved the tour, although our oldest wanted more supernatural stuff. The 3 stops of the tour were fun, and we had enough time to take lots of photos (especially of the Chicago skyline). Highly recommend as a good way to learn about the darker side of Chicago.
