About Chateau de Morès State Historic Site
The Chateau de Mores State Historic Site is a 26-room, two-story frame building built in 1883 as the summer residence of the Marquis de Mores's family. It is now a historic house museum containing many original furnishings and personal effects. The site also includes the De Mores Memorial Park and the Packing Plant/Chimney Park.
