This place is Gorgeous and I had no idea it was so big!!! I know it from American Horror Story so while we were in New Orleans it was a must see for me!!! I would die for a full house tour of this Gorgeous mansion!!!

🏛️✨ Visiting Buckner Mansion was definitely a fun stop for an American Horror Story fan! I’ve always wanted to see it because of American Horror Story: Coven, so it was really cool getting to stand outside, see the famous house, and take pictures. It was a neat experience seeing a place I recognized from the show in real life. 📸 The only downside was getting there was a little challenging. The walk took much longer than expected, and the directions through Google, Ubers, and figuring out how to get around the Garden District were a bit confusing. Since we weren’t staying right in the area, it made getting there more difficult than we expected. You aren’t able to go inside the mansion, so the visit is mostly just to admire it from the outside and take photos. Overall, it was a cool place to check off the list, especially for fans of the show, but I think expectations are important — it’s more of a quick photo stop than a full attraction. 🖤

It for sure has that witchy vibe to it and people frequently stop by to take selfies and pictures of the building. It is a must see if you love AHS. Coven is the best season. There were signs on display to keep people from knocking or climbing into the property.
