Denver Union Station — A Must‑See for Visitors. I visited Denver Union Station while traveling from out of town, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots in the city. The historic architecture mixed with a lively, modern atmosphere makes it feel both iconic and welcoming. The grand hall is stunning — I literally stopped just to take it all in. The station is full of energy, with travelers, locals, families, and food lovers all blending together. I grabbed a great coffee, browsed a few shops, and enjoyed how clean and easy to navigate everything was. The surrounding area is just as impressive, with walkable streets, restaurants, and patios that make exploring a breeze. Note that parking on the streets are free on Sundays and public holidays. The splash pools were on during our visit. Our kids took a quick break to get their feet wet on a 102F Sunday! Phew Whether you're catching a train or just sightseeing, Union Station is absolutely worth the visit. A true 5‑star experience. 😬👍

It was an unexpected way to start our day for our tour group to meet here! This was one highlight of our Denver trip! It almost was a miniature quieter image of Grand Central Station. With actual pews for waiting and stores, bar, snack and coffee places to grab. Felt more secure with the guards in it. The power plugs that are in plain sight were all locked tho but we were able to find one with the help of the information lady. Must stop!

Our visit to Denver Union Station in Denver, Colorado, was such a lively and memorable experience. I was there with my wife Sona and two close friends, and from the moment we walked in, we could feel the vibrant energy of the place. The historic architecture blended beautifully with the modern vibe, making it much more than just a train station — it felt like a social hub full of life. The grand hall, with its high ceilings and elegant design, instantly impressed us. People were relaxing on the big sofas, chatting, sipping drinks, and simply enjoying the atmosphere. We quickly realized that Union Station is not just about travel; it’s about gathering, celebrating, and creating moments. The food and drink options were fantastic. There were plenty of restaurants, cozy cafés, and stylish bars offering everything from craft beers to creative cocktails. We enjoyed trying different drinks together, laughing and sharing stories. The variety of cuisine meant everyone found something they loved, from light bites to hearty meals. It was the perfect spot for friends and family to unwind. To make the evening even more fun, we played a lighthearted role-play game among ourselves, joking around and teasing one of our friends — even “paying” him as part of the fun. It was all in good spirit and added so much laughter to the night. Moments like these are what truly make trips special. Union Station gave us the perfect mix of history, food, drinks, and unforgettable memories with the people who matter most.

Totally free to just walk around, but the guided tour is cheap and worth it. Beautiful architecture. Interesting history. Restored and still in use - there was an Amtrak train boarding for Chicago. Inside: coffee, food, bar, gift shop. Coffee shop had specialty drinks like Tiramisu. The Terminal bar had draft beers for about $7-8. Food was delicious. Kale salad was fresh, fries were served with a truffle aoli, crab dip was served warm in a mini skillet. Gift shop is very small and, just fyi, has a few adult items you may not want little hands accidentally grabbing - caught me by surprise lol. Completely surrounded by places to shop and eat within walking distance or use of the free 16th St shuttles. Definitely a cool place to check out when in Denver!

Union Station is always a hot spot in Denver! There are the fountains in the summer for kids and they do other fun things in the Winter! There are so many restaurants surrounding it to choose from. Its beautiful and historic. There are tons of shops in and around it also. There is the Bustangs the light rail free mall rides and city busses and of course the train that are all there for different forms of transportation.
