The tour was a lot of fun! The guide was entertaining and knowledgeable. This is a great idea if you want to get a feel for the history of Salem - with a slightly spooky edge (our kids had fun with it). Taking the walking tour puts you in the physical places. Hearing the history as you stand in the space gives you great perspective. Salem is such a pretty town with such an important historical lesson.. this is an excellent way to enjoy the present while learning about the past.

Loved our tour with Vin at Black Cat Tours! He was so nice, funny, and a great story teller. He told a mix of historic facts and ghost tales that you don’t learn on other tours around town. We had a great time and highly recommend anyone going on a tour with them.

This ghost tour was so fun! Our guide was Steve Little, and he was awesome! Such a great story teller, and really knew the history of Wilmington. We brought our 1 year old, and he was very accommodating for us and our group. We did tours two nights in a row because we loved it so much and every guide has new stories to tell. Pictured is the Latimer house that was our favorite and our baby’s favorite, he even reached out to the house and tried to reach through the fence to play with someone we couldn’t see, super cool!

The Haunted Tour last night was amazing!! I don't remember the guide's name but he was very knowledgeable about the history and Magick of the town of Salem. This tour was the highlight of our 11th anniversary this year. We love visiting Salem every year! I do feel disappointed that I couldn't browse the shop because I would've loved to meet the black cats, but yesterday the lines were long and today the store was closed. Every visitor needs to take this tour!!

My wife and I didn't enjoy the 8pm ghost tour at all. The tour guide was nice, but was not a story teller at all. The tour was extremely boring and we kept running in to other tours. I actually heard the tour guide of another company next to us telling his group a story and the two minutes I listened to him was more entertaining than our entire tour. Two or three people actually left towards the beginning of the tour. We stayed for more than half, but couldn't listen to basically the same story with different characters at every location, so we left before the tour ended as well. I would 100% recommend a ghost tour when visiting Salem, but I 100% would not recommend Black Cat Tours.
