Took the kids here last week and they definitely had a great time! We spent about 4 hours just exploring and enjoying everything. The apple picking was their favorite part 🍎🀍 It was such a fun and wholesome day. Definitely worth the trip!

Awesome experience and . . . THE BEST apple cider donuts (crispy on the outside, soft on the inside) and pumpkin bars!! Lots of fun activities. Plenty to do and kids love it here. We'll kept grounds. Pick your own apples or buy them already bagged. Come back often.

We had a great time visiting. The staff was all super nice and very helpful. We picked delicious apples, with lots of varieties to choose from (the only low point was the size of the bag you got to fill). The little restaurant was good and we loved the apple cider donuts and just plain apple cider. The basket and gift shop was also nice, with great pies (apple and pumpkin for the season). We finished with the longer of two corn mazes and a quick look at the animals.

I recently went to this farm for this first time and it was a very disappointing experience. I purchased my tickets online in advance, for apple picking for myself, my husband, and our 3 children. We have young ones who still use a stroller. When we arrived, we had to wait for a while in line just to pick up our apple picking bags. They were sold out of 1/2 peck bags and the 1/4 bags were extremely small (like could hold maybe 4 apples...) and tore very easily. Then we had to get in a VERY long line to wait to take a "hayride" over to the orchard. The orchard was not far and could have been walked to but we weren't allowed. We arrived right at open and still had to wait a lot but the biggest issue was that strollers weren't allowed! Of course I understand no stroller on the hayride (I mean Stade's farm allowed it for strawberry picking this summer) but we had NO idea this would be the experience. If we'd not brought a grandparent along to help with our 3 children, we literally could not have done this and safely held all 3 kids in our arms while riding. Finally, after all of this and the line JUST to pick apples, we arrived. Just to find that every single apple had fallen from the trees. The ground was covered in rotten apples and the very few remaining that were high up and required pickers, were also rotten with black spots. My 3 children didn't to actually pick ANY apples, after we made the 40 minute drive to the farm, waited in TWO lines, contained them on the hayride over, just to walk next to a bunch of trees. The staff was kind when I asked to trade out my empty bags for the apples in the store since our afternoon plan was to make pie BUT the whole point of going was the apple picking experience for my kids. I can pick up a bag of apples at the grocery store for a lot less money and effort. The food was very overpriced and we opted to just leave in the end, as it was just a disappointing time overall. If there aren't apples left to pick, the farm needed to advertise that and say that "u-pick" was closed for the season. I cannot imagine most other farms keeping their tickets open for it. It's awful business practice and I would normally never write a negative review of a small business but this was frankly ridiculous and a rip-off. We went with other friends as well and it was a sorely disappointing day for all.
